REMINDERS

Students who miss any of the regular testing dates listed above, will participate in make-up testing after returning to school. If possible, parents/guardians are encouraged to avoid any pre-planned student absence during these testing dates. If an extended absence is planned for a student that will span a significant portion of the days between March 1, 2010 and March 4, 2010, please contact the Middle Level Administrator, Becky Allan, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. On testing days, students:

  • Will start and end their school days at normal times: 8:05 am to 3:10 pm.
  • Will follow special bell schedules. (Click here to download detailed bell schedule.)
  • Do not need to bring pencils because number two pencils will be provided.
  • Should bring a healthy snack to eat during the morning break.
  • Should not bring backpacks or cell phones to school.

Any backpacks brought to school will need to be stored in the front office. Teachers are aware that students will not have their backpacks and school materials with them on testing days. According to state CSAP testing regulations, cell phones are not permitted in the testing environment. If a proctor observes a cell phone in the testing environment, the cell phone will be confiscated and it will be the student's responsibility to pick up the phone prior to the end of the school day. On a testing day, if there is an emergency and a parent needs to contact his/her student, then the parent should call DCC at 234-1800.
